Converge response codes: approval, decline, CVV2, AVS and settlement

Every Converge authorization comes back with a short code and message: AA means approved, N7 means declined because the CVV2 security code didn’t match (a CVV2 failure), NC means pick up the card, and ND covers the other declines. When the sale includes the billing address or the card’s security code (CVV2), you also get a one-letter address verification (AVS) or CVV2 result.
