Cartis may be required to obtain a certain amount of this personal customer information and may submit some of this information to its service provider(s) to the extent that it may be necessary to facilitate the servicing of Your account. - Applying for a Merchant Services: When You apply for a merchant account regarding a Cartis product or service, Cartis may use and disclose the information to evaluate Your eligibility for a Cartis product or service, including disclosure to consumer reporting agencies, relevant financial institutions, and other entities involved in providing products and services connected to Your merchant account services. Cartis may also use and disclose Your information during the course of providing or procuring products or services connected Your merchant account services on Your behalf. Cartis may also use Your information to contact You, directly or through a third party reseller or agent, about other Cartis offerings and to inform You about general company news and industry trends. Cartis may also use Your information for internal business analyses.
- Surveys and Questionnaires: If You submitted an inquiry to Cartis or if You are a Cartis customer, periodically, Cartis may use Your information to contact You, directly or through a third party reseller or agent, to complete a survey or questionnaire. Cartis is committed to handling Your information with high standards of information security. We use computer safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption, we enforce physical access controls to our buildings and files, and we authorize access to personal information only to employees who need to know that information in order to fulfill their job responsibilities.
The security of Your Cartis account (through Converge or Merchant Connect) also relies on Your protection of Your password. You may not share Your account password with anyone. If You believe someone else has obtained access to Your password, please change it immediately by logging into Your account, changing Your account settings, and also contacting us right away to inform us of the breach. Cartis will never ask You to send Your password or other sensitive information to us in an e-mail.
D. CORRECTION AND DELETION OF INFORMATION
If You want Cartis to correct or delete Your information that is stored on Cartis systems, please submit Your request in writing to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Subject to our ability to verify Your request and provided that Cartis is not required to maintain the Information by applicable laws, regulations, or contractual obligations, Cartis will correct or delete the Information within thirty (30) days of receipt of Your request.
