How to do a refund or return (Desk 5000 / Move 5000)
To refund a card payment on a Desk 5000 or Move 5000, press the Return icon on the home screen, enter the password and the amount, then take the card. Use a refund only for transactions that have already settled; if the transaction is still in the open batch (transactions that haven’t been settled yet), void it instead.

Should I refund or void?
If the transaction is still in the open batch, follow the steps to void it instead of refunding it. Refunds are for transactions that have already been settled.
