How to enable or disable Terminal Semi-Integration (TSI) (Desk 5000 / Move 5000)

To use your Desk 5000 or Move 5000 as a semi-integrated terminal, Cartis first enables semi-integration on your terminal file; after the download, you turn the semiinteg setting on in the terminal’s Semi Integrated menu. You then switch between semi-integrated and standalone mode with an icon at the top right of the home screen.

  • Applies to: Ingenico Desk 5000, Move 5000
  • You’ll need: software or an ECR that has completed integration to Elavon, semi-integration enabled on your terminal file, the terminal password (if prompted), and your IT administrator for the communication settings

Before you start

To enable Semi Integration, your software / Electronic Cash Register (ECR) must have completed integration to Elavon.

Then contact Cartis to enable semi integration on the terminal file: call Cartis support at 1-888-712-0770 or email support@cartispayments.com. On the file, we make sure semi-integrated is highlighted on the general tab, and that type 1 is checked in the rms type box on the semi-integrated tab.
