How to reload a gift card (Desk 5000 / Move 5000)
To reload a gift card on a Desk 5000 or Move 5000, open the GIFT menu, select 4 – Reload, enter the amount, swipe or key in the card, and choose how the customer is paying. Reload adds value to a gift card that is already active.
How do I reload a gift card?
- Press the GIFT menu from second page of home screen (or press Enter and Select 4 – Gift)
- Select 4 – Reload
- Enter the amount and press Enter
- Swipe or key in the gift card # and press Enter
- Choose payment type (how is the customer paying to load the gift card): Credit, Debit or Cash
- Receipt will print
- Choose to print customer copy: 1 – Yes or 2- No
