How to settle gift card transactions (Desk 5000 / Move 5000)
To settle gift card transactions on a Desk 5000 or Move 5000, run Settlement and select YES. Accept the main settlement screen first, then the Gift Settlement screen, which lists your gift card sales and returns.
How do I settle gift card transactions?
- Press on Settlement icon from 2nd page of home screen (or press Enter to get to main menu and select Settlement)
- Terminal will display “close batch and deposit funds”
- Select YES
- Settlement screen will display breakdown of sales, return and voids: 1 – Accept or 2 – Cancel
- Gift Settlement will display showing gift card sales and returns: 1 – Accept or 2 – Cancel
