The province’s Advanced Manufacturing & Innovation Competitiveness (AMIC) stream is one of the most valuable programs available for companies investing in modernization, technology adoption, and workforce expansion.
What the AMIC Program Offers
- Up to 15% of eligible project costs
- Interest-free loans up to $5 million for up to four years
- Loan forgiveness up to $500,000 when you meet investment and job targets
- Support for capital equipment, technology upgrades, and skills development.
Who’s Eligible
Manufacturers in aerospace, automotive, ICT, life sciences, steel, chemical, and other advanced sectors.
To qualify, companies must:
- Have 3+ years of operating history
- Employ at least 10 people
- Invest $500,000+ into their project
- Commit to creating or upskilling at least five jobs.
AMIC funding cannot be combined with other provincial programs.
